Deserves an explanation. I've moved from the excitement of travel to the faux responsibility that passes for my day.  Y'all really don't need or want to know when I do laundry,when the bum gun is leaking, or what shampoo I bought. In the coming weeks, I'll do some traveling - either the Borneo International Kite Festival down the coast in Bintulu (worried about subjecting myself to crowds) or up the coast to the Capital of Sabah (the state up north), Kota Kinabalu.  Or, I could chicken out and stay home for 2 months. I'll take calls, answer texts, and continue posting on Blue Sky (Subjunction@bsky.social or "Cranky Cloud Yeller on Borneo".) Check in monthly and you should be fine. It's been a week.  A mixed week.  And definitely one where I was not moved to "long form" writing.  Lots of time on the couch.  Mixed sleep.   In part because it was SUPER hot.  Feels like temps in the 115f zone.  I just don't go out much when it's like that. Thursday they put the post in for my new (4th) dental implant.  Much less painful than the root extraction had been.  Stitches come out this Thursday.  Dental work and heat is definitely a couch time driver. Today is remarkably comfortable.  I'm sitting in the shade on the pool deck.  It's just downright pleasant  Accuweather says the shade feels like temp is 96f.  I do not believe that. Nautide says 89.6f, even that feels high.  I should be walking.  I haven't hit 3,000 steps in forever.  But writing feels better.  Less sweat.
